I apologize for the blog post delay- my head has been smashed between books and essays all week, so this is my first bit of 'fun writing' I've gotten to do in a few days. This time, one week ago, the weather was 85-90°F out, and currently, it's in the 50s (~13-16°C). Seemingly overnight, Minnesota has transitioned from Indian Summer to brisk autumn weather. This is meant to be an easy and fun post- I'm just going to share a few of my recent outfits, and chat about what I'm going to be wearing this fall!
This fall is all about warm tones and cozy pieces. Knits and turtlenecks are an absolute fall staple, and this season is no exception. This knit is from Zara, and I picked it up really recently- you can find it here.
This is another outfit that ticks off both of my boxes: it's cozy, and it's warm. This little skirt is from Nasty Gal, and I'll link it here. All of Nasty Gal is currently 50% off, so it's only 18 bucks!
The little teddy coat is from Zara, and you can find it here. Last year, I discovered my love for giant teddy coats, and this year, I plan on collecting more of them. This cropped version is the perfect fall transition, and I may take it into winter as well.
This look is what I consider my 'perfect transitional look'- for those semi chilly (but still warm and sunny days), the warm toned trousers work perfectly with a loose and comfortable t-shirt. I absolutely love this look, although I may need to swap out the t-shirts with turtlenecks pretty soon.
The bag is from last season Mango, so I don't know if you can find it anywhere, but I love the warm tones in the fall. Regardless, i highly recommend a faux fur bag for the colder months- it's just so appropriate.
Fall is such a warm-toned month, and it makes me want to wrap myself in giant knits and wear bold lip colors. I'm so excited for this fall- it is by far my favorite season for fashion, as well as weather.
So, what are you wearing this fall? Let me know your favorite staples and trends for the best season of the year (don't argue with me.) As always, thanks for reading. I'm working hard to keep up with school and the blog, so stay tuned every few days, there should always be something new in the works.
