Back in December, I purchased a pair of chunky, black leather boots from Zara- these boots took me back to my teenage grunge era, when I used to stomp around everywhere in my Dr. Martens. With the popular trend of flowy, floor length dresses (so much Chloe inspo), I've been having a fun time styling really feminine dresses with my clunky, black boots.
These are photos that I took from Chloe's Instagram- I just wanted to share a few examples of really flowy, feminine dresses and chunky boots.
I found this dark, floral dress at H&M on clearance for $10, and I thought it was the perfect flowy piece to recreate this sort of mix of feminine and masculine fashion with. I can't find it online anymore, but any piece like this would work well.
I also did something similar by layering a Free & Form dress. This is an incredibly light, luxurious silk dress, so I love to contrast it with masculine pieces, and these boots are the perfect pairing.
I couldn't find the pair of boots I own from Zara online anymore, but I've linked a couple similar styles here, and here.
Let me know what you've been inspired by lately! I'm sorry I've been a little MIA on the blog- Instagram has been easy enough to keep up with, but it's been hard to find time to write out my ideas. I'm trying my best. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend, and a productive week! Much love.
